THE DELICACY OF CROSS RACING: LADIES FIRST
Here's a little snippet from the start of Kim Thomas' race in Bend Oregon (wherever that is) yesterday. Kim did very well in her first National Championship race - finished on the leader's lap, and beat a few people to the line. Well done Kim! Her first report after the race on FB was: "WOW AM I MUDDY." She should make a T-shirt out of that one. Anyway, thanks to Kim, here's the video of the start. Looks brutal - more like a TdF sprint finish than a women's master race. Looks like they were going for it!

ReplyDeleteNo you were right about the video ... Kim posted it and said "my whiplash from my crash could have been worse ..." so I assumed she was in the carnage. Lucky see wasn't. Thanks for the correction! Oh yes, and as another far more famous blogger said, "I've sold out, apparently."
